Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of EventControl ID, the sign-in service at id.eventcontrol.se that signs you in to the EventControl products you are entitled to use.

Document status

This is a working version. What it says about EventControl ID's function, the permissions it requests and the data it handles is accurate and verified. Items marked To confirmlike this are still outstanding, and the legal wording has not yet been reviewed by counsel. If you need something clarified before signing in, write to info@dispatch.se.

01Who we are

EventControl ID is operated by Dispatch Communication AB ("Dispatch", "we", "us"), a company registered in Sweden.

To confirmCompany registration number and registered address.

02What EventControl ID is

EventControl ID is an identity provider. Its only job is to establish who you are and hand you on to the EventControl product you are opening — currently Flow, Screens or vNext.

It is not a product you work in. It holds no event data, no operational content and no material you create inside the EventControl products. What it does hold is described in the Privacy Statement.

By signing in through EventControl ID, you accept these terms.

03Who may use it

EventControl ID is for named individuals who have been granted access to at least one EventControl product. Accounts are personal — they are not to be shared between people or used as shared team logins.

If your access was arranged by your employer or another organisation, the agreement between that organisation and Dispatch governs the underlying service, and your organisation decides who gets access and for how long.

To confirmHow these terms rank against a signed customer agreement where the two differ. Needs legal review.

04Signing in with Microsoft

When you choose to sign in with Microsoft, EventControl ID asks your Microsoft account for these permissions:

PermissionWhat it is for
openidSigns you in and identifies the account you signed in with.
profileBasic profile information, from which we take your display name.
emailYour email address.
User.ReadReads the basic profile of the signed-in user — that is, your own.
offline_accessKeeps your session going without asking you to sign in again each time.

Of everything these permissions make available, EventControl ID uses only your display name and your email address.

It does not read your mail, your files, your calendar or your organisation's directory, and it requests no permission that would let it do so.

You, or your IT administrator on your organisation's behalf, can withdraw this consent at any time through Microsoft Entra ID or your Microsoft account settings. Withdrawing it stops you signing in to EventControl products with Microsoft.

05Your account

  • Keep your sign-in method secure and do not share it or let anyone else sign in as you.
  • Tell us at info@dispatch.se, and tell your own IT administrator, if you think your account or a session has been misused.
  • Keep your email address current — it is how we identify you and how account notices reach you.

06Acceptable use

When using EventControl ID, do not:

  • attempt to access an account, session or data that is not yours;
  • probe, scan or test the service, or attempt to circumvent its authentication, rate limits or logging, without our prior written permission;
  • automate sign-in in a way that degrades the service for others;
  • use the service for anything unlawful, or in breach of the rights of others.

Authorised security testing is welcome — contact us first at info@dispatch.se so we can agree scope.

07Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep EventControl ID available and secure, but it is provided as it is. We may change it, add or retire sign-in methods, and take it down for maintenance.

To confirmWhether any availability or uptime commitment applies. None is stated here. If an SLA exists in the agreement with your organisation, that agreement is what applies.

08Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove access where it is necessary to protect the service or its users — for example on suspected compromise of an account, or on a breach of these terms — and where the organisation that arranged your access ends it.

You can stop using EventControl ID at any time. To have your account removed, ask your own administrator or write to info@dispatch.se.

09Privacy

What EventControl ID stores about you, who it is shared with, the legal basis for it and your rights over it are set out in the Privacy Statement, which forms part of these terms.

10Intellectual property

EventControl, Flow, Screens, vNext, EventControl ID and the Dispatch name and marks belong to Dispatch. Using the sign-in service gives you no right to use them beyond what is needed to use the EventControl products you have access to.

11Liability

Where your access is arranged through an organisation, the allocation of liability in the agreement between Dispatch and that organisation is what governs.

To confirmWhether a separate limitation of liability should be stated here, and in what form. No cap, exclusion or disclaimer is asserted in this version. This section has not been reviewed by counsel.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer or data protection right you have under the law of the country you live in.

To confirmVenue for disputes, and whether the choice-of-law clause should be qualified. Needs legal review.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one published at this address, and the date below reflects when it last changed.
